Participates in Circuit Challenge

On October 14, 2016, 10th grade student from exhibited an integrated circuit project at the GLOBALFOUNDRIES Manfucturing Day Challenge event in Malta. Students were tasked with creating a special design using at least one integrated circuit along with any one or more predetermined elements that include light, sound, movement, color, and alternative energy. The Clean Tech ECHS program won the award for Best Design. The Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School (Clean Tech ECHS) hosted the first student project exhibition of the school year on November 2, 2016 at HVCC's TEC-SMART facility in Malta, New York. Families, teachers, school counselors, administrators, civic leaders, and partners in business, industry, higher education, and non-profit agencies had the opportunity to see our future leaders present their student projects addressing real world issues. exhibited the integrated circuit to over 300 business partners, educators, and family members who were in attendance. Students had the opportunity to share their ideas with Congressman Paul Tonko (NY's 20th Congressional District) and Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner (Assembly District 113).
